Chiefs are inline hockey division and state champs

The McIntosh Chiefs varsity team beat Brookwood with a score of 4-3 to take home the GHRA Class AAAA state championship trophy.

They won 32 seconds into double overtime with a slapshot by DJ Rodriguez, assisted by Austin Baldwin.  All skaters contributed to the win with either a goal or an assist. Goalie Sam Sheikali stopped 22 shots.

The Chiefs also took home the 3A/4A Division trophy for the 2009/2010 regular season.
