McIntosh girls top two Coweta teams in tennis

McIntosh’s varsity girls tennis team defeated two Coweta teams in matches played March 4 and 8.

The Lady Chiefs beat East Coweta 4-1 last Thursday. The match against Newnan was a little tighter with McIntosh prevailing 3-2. Winners were Charlene Kemp (8-1) and the doubles teams of Stephanie Halpern and Rachel White (8-3) and Meredith Calkins and Michaela Hardy (8-7 won tiebreak 10-6).
