State sectionals in wrestling/state meet in swimming change dates due to weather

The sectional tournaments for wrestling, which were originally scheduled for today and tomorrow have been cancelled.

Instead of holding the sectionals, an extra day has been added to the state tournament and there will be a 32-man bracket in classes AA, AAA, AAAA and AAAAA (instead of 16) beginning with weigh-ins Wednesday night, Feb. 17, at the Gwinnett Arena. Class A will now have a 16-man bracket (instead of 8) at the state tournament. Wrestling will begin at 8 a.m., Thursday morning at Gwinnett Arena.

The state swim meet, originally scheduled for this weekend will now begin on Tuesday, Feb. 16.
