FCHS's Swain signs with Morgan State
Fayette County High School Senior Clarence Swain signed his letter of intent to play football at Morgan State University, Baltimore MD, this morning in the FCHS Media Center.
Swain was surrounded by family, coaches and teammates. Swain was a three year starter, first team all-region 5-AAAA Center (2009), and Most Outstanding Offensive Player this year for the Tigers.
Head Football Coach Tommy Webb told the crowd, "Swain is one of the best kids we have. He is a hard worker on the field and the classroom and is a leader for his peers."
Swain is the fourth member of FCHS class of 2010 to sign a letter of intent this school year. Classmates Anma Onyeuku (Hofstra, womens basketball), Sasha Sims (Stetson, womens Basketball), and Niko Goodrum (Kennesaw State, Baseball) signed their letters of intent during the early signing period in the fall.
