Lightning alum Clark makes Bundesliga
German Bundesliga Club, Eintracht Frankfurt, has signed Houston Dynamo and AFC Lightning Alum, Ricardo Clark through the end of the season with a three-year option. The 26-year-old Clark, who has 27 caps for the USA and two goals, has played in MLS since 2003.
Clark, who arrives as a free agent, is to replace Bosnian midfielder Zlatan Bajramovic, who is out with an Achilles’ tendon injury. Frankfurt is in seventh place, 18 games into the 34-game Bundesliga season. The Lightning product won MLS titles with Houston in 2006 and 2007. He started in the USA’s win over Spain in the semifinals of the 2009 Confederations Cup and in the final loss to Brazil.
