Krista’s Fight Charity Golf Classic, Nov. 8

Krista Battalio is a 37-year-old mother of Cooper Battalio (5-years old) and wife of Michael Battalio. Krista has been recently diagnosed with Inflammatory Breast Cancer (“IBC”). Krista was diagnosed with IBC in July 2008 and, unfortunately, her condition is far more advanced than anyone could have imagined. The tournament is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 8, at the White Oak Country Club in Newnan, Georgia. Schedule of events: 11:15 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Registration and practice; 12:45 p.m. Shotgun Start / Box Lunch; 5:30-6 p.m. Impossible Putt Competition; 6-9 p.m. Dinner & Drinks Reception / Awards Presentation / Live Raffle / Silent Auction.
