Tigers take third at Flowery Branch

Fayette County’s wrestling team placed third in the Flowery Branch Duals. They beat Towers, St. Pius, Habersham and East Jackson but lost to Flowery Branch.

Dylan Tanner (152), Cody Griffin (215) and Martinek Adamson (285) all went 5-0 in the meet.

The Tigers were missing two starters and had eight wrestlers who had either never wrestled in high school or never started.
Fayette County wrestled at East Coweta last night after the paper went to press and will wrestle in the South Metro Invitational at Locust Grove this weekend.
