OLM girls capture second straight cross country title, other local teams place in top 10
Our Lady of Mercy’s girls won the Class A state championship in cross country. It was their second consecutive state title.
The top five runners for the Lady Bobcats were:
• Megan Malasarte, 3, 19:51.38
• Andrea Raville, 5, 20:09.84
• Colleen Kelly, 13, 21:06.31
• Alexis Fagedes, 23, 21:37.25
• Jessica Adams, 30, 21:55.89
Landmark Christian placed fifth but had the overall champion in Class A. Their top five runners were:
• Lindy Long, 1, 19:02.74
• Lana Hojeij, 6, 20:19.37
• Hannah Gravitt, 38, 22:33.91
• Kenzie Thrasher, 48, 22:57.94
• Kensi Deel, 65, 23:35.11
On the boys side, Our Lady of Mercy placed 10th. Their top five runners were:
• Jonathan Bridier, 9, 17:03.51
• Shannon Kelly, 38, 18:10.95
• Rebby Hebert, 83, 19:36.41

In the Class AAAA boys meet, McIntosh placed fourth, followed by Starr’s Mill in eighth place.

The top five runners for the Panthers were:

On the girls’ side, Whitewater placed fourth, while McIntosh took eighth and Starr’s Mill placed ninth.
