Winning at Disney

T.M.A. Olympic Tae Kwon Do School in Fayetteville competed in the sparring division of the 2009 Disney Wide World of Sports tournament. Eleven athletes from T.M.A. competed and returned with nine golds, one silver and one bronze. Gold medal winners were Eduardo Naranjo (5), John Naranjo (9), Matthew Todd (8), Lizzie Todd (8), David Collins (9), Edgar Sarmiento (9), Angel Ramos (10), Tommy Zarate (12) and Javaune Powell (16). Sonia Sarmiento (11) won a silver medal and Darren Mitchell (11) won a bronze. The team was led by Master Instructor Eid Koja and Master Aladdin Koja. Photo/Special.
