Several races for runners coming soon

Turkey Trot at Spring Hill, Nov. 7
The 6th annual Turkey Trot will take place on Saturday, Nov. 7 at Spring Hill Elementary school located at 100 Bradford Square in Fayetteville.

The one mile fun run will begin at 8 a.m., followed by the 5K race which will begin at 8:30 a.m. Registration fee is $25 and you can register online at www.active.com or you can download an entry form at www.springhillsuns.org and mail in directly to the school at 100 Bradford Square, Fayetteville, GA 30215. Refreshments will be served and door prizes will be awarded! Join us for a fun family event.

Run for Justice, Nov. 7
On Saturday, November 7, at 9 a.m., Wellspring Living will host “Run for Justice,” their annual 5K Benefit Run / Walk to focus attention on the injustice of sex trafficking.The race starts and ends at City Hall in Peachtree City (151 Willowbend Road/ Peachtree City, GA 30269). The cost is $25. Each participant will receive a t-shirt and official time card. There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd Places in each division:  Kids (12 years and under), Men’s Open, Women’s Open, Men’s Masters (40+ years) and Women’s Masters (40+ years). There will also be a 10K race at 8 a.m.  The 10K race is reserved for runners who choose to raise $500. There will be activities for kids of all ages to enjoy at the start / finish line. All proceeds benefit the Wellspring Home and Wellspring for Girls, which provide victims of childhood trauma and sex trafficking a safe place to heal. Braelinn Run for the Stars, Nov. 14
Braelinn Run for the Stars 5K, 1 Mile and Tot Trot will take place Sunday, Nov. 14 at 8:30 a.m. Courses begin and end at Braelinn Elementary School.
