Northgate volleyball wins Conyers Classic

The Northgate Lady Vikings Volleyball team (30-9) competed this past weekend in the 42 team Conyers Classic.

The Vikings began Friday night going 2-0 and rolled off another five wins in succession without losing a game to advance to the championship round.  Northgate beat Heritage High School in the semi-finals and Jonesboro in the finals without losing a game all weekend.  The fourth ranked Lady Vikings (AAAA)  play Sandy Creek at home on Wednesday, Sept. 30  to determine first place in the highly competitive 3-AAAA.  The Lady Vikings will have Senior Night at Northgate on Thursday, Oct. 1.
