McIntosh opens 2009 season with win

The McIntosh Chiefs played at Forsyth Central on Friday but started 2009 just like they started 2008 with a win over the Bulldogs.

McIntosh got a pair of touchdown catches from Matt Fergus in the first half and three touchdowns from Darius Miliam (58 yards rushing) in the second half to give the Chiefs a 34-17 win over Forsyth Central on Friday. Daniel Price received the Jets Player of the Week award for having 121 all purpose yards (77 return yards, 38 receiving yards, 6 rushing yards) and also had an interception and four total tackles. Andrew Graham was the Chiefs’ defensive player of the week with 11 total tackles, two for a loss and two sacks, while Sean Carney had 15 total tackles and Rickey Oskey had 13 total tackles.
