Chili Dogs are state champs again

The 12U Home Plate Chili Dogs went 6-0 against the best in Georgia to take their third consecutive AAU Georgia state championship.

Winning this state title was one of the team goals and it took a piece of all 11 players skill sets to pull off the championship weekend. These guys know the meaning of the word “team.” Prior to this tournament they were ranked eighth among 12U Major Division travel baseball teams throughout the country by TravelBallSelect.com. They competed in the AAU National Championship at Disney’s Wide World of Sports Complex this past week.

Team members are Max Birlew, Connor Dillon, Tristin English, Bradley Harmon, Brody Lloyd, Caleb Norton, Casey Selfe, Carter Perkins, Seth Pierce, Jordan Schmidt and Tyler Sellers. Coaches are Tony Schmidt, Ron Lloyd and Mike Selfe.
