Lane picked by Rangers in seventh round of MLB Draft

Braxton Lane, a right fielder for the Sandy Creek Patriots this past year, was drafted by the Texas Rangers with the 214th pick in the 2009 MLB Draft.

Lane, a switch hitter, is listed as 5’10” 190 pounds. He had signed a letter of intent to attend and play football (and possibly baseball) for the University of Oregon.
