Dixie Duals Champ

One local Peachtree City wrestler represented Team Georgia on the national level this past weekend (March 20-23) at the 2009 Dixie Duals.  Georgia State Champion Van Schmidt competed in the 55lb slot for the 10U age group. Schmidt went 4-0 individually with two pins, while his team went 4-0 in the bracketed tournament.  The 2009 Dixie Duals were held in Vestavia Ala.
