Fayette basketball teams sweep McIntosh

Fayette County hosted their longtime rivals, McIntosh, on Friday night and got wins from both the boys and girls squads.

The Lady Tigers (22-0) won 44-21 with Anma Onyeuku leading the team in scoring with 21 points. The boys (15-7) won 72-69. Adam Smith led the Tigers with 27 points, 15 of which came from three pointers while Noel Johnson added 15, Malcolm Brogdon chipped in 13 and Maurice Williams added 12.

McIntosh was led by Josh Ball and Jeremy Lampkin who both scored 18 points a piece.

McIntosh hosts Starr’s Mill tonight, while Fayette County plays at Whitewater.
