McIntosh swimmers win Clayton County Winter Invitational

McIntosh High School Swim Team took 1st place overall of 17 high schools in Clayton County’s Winter Invitational on January 14th.  Starr’s Mill High School finished 2nd, Whitewater High School finished 4th, Our Lady of Mercy finished 7th, and Fayette County High School finished 15th in the meet. 

McIntosh swimmers who placed in the top 5 were:

Boys 200 Yd Medley Relay: 1st, Machmehl, Novelly, Chang, Koellner

Girls 200 Yd Medley Relay: 1st, Schmid, Smith, Bond, Barrett

Boys 200 Yd Freestyle:  4th, Theo Lefebvre

Girls 200 Yd Freestyle:  2nd, Claren Anderson

Girls 200 Yd IM:  1st, Missy Beall and 5th, Haley Smith

Girls 50 Yd Freestyle:  3rd, Courtney Bond

Boys 100 Yd Butterfly:  3rd, Nick Chang, 4th Chipper Machmehl

Girls 100 Yd Butterfly:  1st, Missy Beall and 2nd, Alexandra Schmid

Boys 100 Yd Freestyle:  4th, Clayton Koellner

Boys 500 Yd Freestyle:  5th, Ryan Anderson

Girls 500 Yd Freestyle:  2nd, Haley Smith, 3rd, Courtney Bond, and 5th, Erika Barrett

Boys 200 Yd Freestyle Relay:  2nd, Hort, Novelly, DuBreuil, Chang

Girls 200 Yd Freestyle:  1st, Schmid, Anderson, Bond, Beall

Girls 100 Yd Backstroke: 2nd, Claren Anderson, and 3rd, Hannah Mason

Boys 100 Yd Breaststroke, 1st, Chipper Machmehl, 4th, Nick Chang, and 5th, Evan Novelly

Girls 100 Yd Breaststroke, 2nd, Alexandra Schmid, and 5th Madison Bunker

Boys 400 Yd Freestyle Relay:  2nd, Koellner, Lefebvre, Skonberg, Machmehl

Girls 400 Yd Freestyle Relay:  1st, Anderson, Smith, Barrett, Beall, and 5th, Beard, Koontz, Ulrich, Pemu
