If you stop paying your mortgage, they kick you out of your house... how is enforcing that contract any more or less moral than enforcing a season ticket contract flower girl dresses? Yes it makes them look like money grubbing dicks, but how is an economy supposed to run if every time something bad happens you get a "do-over?"

This makes the Redskins look bad, but even the Grandmother acknowledges that she needs to "pay her debts." She is being forced in to bankruptcy because she valued entertainment more than she valued other more practical things like groceries, and that choice turned out badly for her wedding cakes.

She didn't even bother to show up in court and the article states that 50% of the 137 cases that ended up in court like this were overturned. If she had showed up she would have had a 50/50 chance. Probably better since, as the headline makes so clear, she is a 72 year old grandmother and lifelong fan who just ran in to hard times wedding hairstyles. Is her next bad decision going to be to stop paying her car insurance and then immediately run into a tree? (Been there, done that).

I am not completely without sympathy for her here, she is in a tough spot, made tougher by some unlucky/bad decisions, but she seems to be doing something right by getting the press on her side, so maybe she will come out of this OK.

The $66,364 they sued her for was for the value of her tickets till her contract ran out in 2017 plus the court and lawyer's fees they had to spend to get her to pay.

Suing your fans is never a good idea wedding flowers. On top of that they are reselling the tickets after they get the judgments for full payment + extras. That proves they are crooked. They should resell the tickets for as much as they can and make the person who broke the contract pay the difference. Just like if you defaulted on a mortgage. They resell it and put the money earned against what you owe.

The redskins are profiting twice from the same ticket.

last year I was keeping an eye on this team, hope this season will be much greater for them.

Sandy Creek hosts inaugural Football Community Kick-off Saturday ... The Panthers team held off the strong squad from North Forsyth to win their championship game.

The team has chemistry to a point. The coaches are too harsh and therefore, not very motivational! Attitude reflects leadership! Remember the Titans, Chip Walker?

Daniel I understand your points but don't you think a Rio Johnson throwing to Calvin Johnson would have been a little better than Dusty throwing to him? We have more weapons now without having Braxton Lane than with. They have a real shot.....I just feel it.

This team never wins against real competition! No team would with harsh coaches who do not motivate their players and who play the same ones over and over and over again....they rarely give the other athletes a chance...they don't like to take risks and therefore they go home early!

I was surprised at Sandy Creek's performance Friday - mainly because they had trouble against Tucker. Neal rushed for next to nothing in that game and I think the team works best when he can run like crazy. Teams pile up to stop him and then Bell hits his receivers all night.

How will it go this week? Who knows? Griffin is tough, but every game is tough now. The best thing about Thomas Co. win was the defense went after it. They get aggressive and pressure the QB - it could be a long night for the Bears.

I hope you have developed a better sense of confidence in our Patriots! It was a long night for Griffin only because they couldn't make any plays! We gave the the early Christmas gifts of the 2 TD they did get! We totally dominated the game and our guys are so humble and excited about the Dome next. All the naysayers need to reevaluate our team and start supporting them. I am still hearing negative, but only because they are upset that they are not in our situation. I can only hope the attitude will change and I will see kids from all of Fayette Co. at the Dome cheering Creek on! I know that our kids would if another Fayette Co. team had made it this far. This is history making for our county and exciting for everyone! I really don't think that we are choking this year. They are taking each game one at a time. Thank you again for all the good stuff said though. GO CREEK!!!

Way to be supportive. You don't have to be a bitch. The team is awesome! Obviously you haven't seen them play this year!

Yes, we have a shot. However, we had a shot with Calvin and without him, but the team just got too cocky.

I honestly hope that I am wrong. I do. I'm just basing my opinion on the history that Creek has during the playoffs.

Have you watched Sandy Creek play this year Daniel? They've done nothing but win, somehow. It seems when their backs are against the wall they rise up and pull it out.

I've been around alot of Sandy Creek teams and as far as a pure team, this is the best in a while. Give them a chance.

I have 6+ years of watching the Creek. This year they have done outstanding, but from past experience, the teams usually choke before getting to the Dome. I've found that having some doubts about something causes the opposite of what I think will happen to happen, so maybe this team will win the state, but there are other teams just as good as they are that they'll have to play.

(I was around for two years of Calvin and Andrew Gardner-I've seen them play magnificently-just like this season).

Almost every time Sandy Creek gets to the playoffs, they choke in the first round. Every time they make it past the first round, they typically underestimate their opponent and lose so we'll see how it goes this week.

The defense this year has been physical and special. They give Creek a chance in every game. The offense on any team needs to score more. But defense wins championships. This group went into the second round last year against North Hall. They know what it takes to win. It will be fun to watch.

The offense has a chance to do some damage, but if they do it will be more through the air then on the ground. I like the way that the running backs are used (Neal in the first half, Charleston in the second and Green when you absolutely, positively need a couple of yards) but the receivers are the ones that can open things up.

That being said, the defense is really good - producing turnovers and playing tough on every play. They look like they won't let up until the final whistle in the final game.
