OLM brings home state titles

The school with the shortest history in the area is no stranger to bringing home the hardware.

The Our Lady of Mercy boys cross country team won their third consecutive state title in Class A on Saturday. Their top three runners all placed in the top 10 and their top five were all in the top 15.

Our Lady of Mercy’s top five runners were:
• Matt Lethbridge, 3, 16:30.29
• Jared Cooper, 8, 16:59.99
• Jake Lethbridge, 10, 17:17.53
• Jonathan Bridier, 12, 17:22.77
• Justin Yakubesan, 14, 17:26.76

The Our Lady of Mercy girls cross country team also won a state title, their first. Their top five runners were:
• Megan Malasarte, 2, 19:53.99
• Andrea Raville, 5, 20:29.97
• Colleen Kelly, 14, 21:23.04
• Sarah Hohenberger, 16, 21:40.38
• Yarahi Castillo, 24, 22:03.79
