Starr's Mill takes second in state

The Starr’s Mill High School Varsity Cheerleading Team was the runner-up State Champion in the AAAA Division Georgia State Cheerleading Finals held in Columbus, GA on Saturday, November 8.

In one of the closest finals ever, Fayette County schools were exceptional taking three of the top ten spots.  Congratulations to Whitewater on third place and Sandy Creek on taking seventh.  The region was well represented! 

Starr’s Mill Team includes Seniors: Ariele D'Emidio, Casey Hill, Molly Hughes, Heidi Roof, and Jessica Wagner.  Other team members are: Kassidy Colston, Taylor DuPont, Brooke Fletcher, Annie Garner, Mallory Hammer, Taylor Hinton, Kristin Hudson, Callie Hughes, Rachael Hurst, Amanda Klinker, Stephanie Metzger, Nikki Perez, Jules Shipe, Sarah Stark, Sarah Vaughn, Lacey Witta, and Dani Wolf. Head Coached by Mandy Burnett assisted by former coach Mandy Ridgeway.
