Trinity Christian School will host a “Meet the New A.D.” Sports Open House on Thursday, July 15, at 7:30 p.m. in the main campus gym located at 8817 Hwy. 54 W., Sharpsburg.

Students, parents, and interested prospective students are invited to meet Trinity’s newly hired Athletic Director, Anthony Lamb. Coaches from Trinity’s sports teams will be present to meet students and answer questions about their programs.

Besides directing the TCS sports program, Lamb will assume head coaching responsibilities for the school’s varsity basketball team. Coach Lamb most recently served as Dean of Students at the Westfield School of Perry, Georgia, but has served private schools as an administrator, Athletic Director, coach, and teacher for more than twenty years. He has taken his public and private school basketball teams to state tournaments in Georgia, Tennessee, and Colorado.

Trinity Middle School sports teams compete in the Private Athletic Conference (PAC) and the Metro Area Christian Athletic Conference (MAC). The High School competes in the Georgia Independent School Association (GISA) and the Independent Christian Schools of Georgia and Alabama (ICSGA). A newly formed Middle School eleven-man football program will be offered this fall besides soccer, basketball, volleyball, and track and field. High School varsity offerings include eight-man football, soccer, basketball, baseball, softball, golf and cheerleading.

Trinity has over three hundred twenty-five students enrolled in grades 6-12, and is in their second year of dual campuses.
