Tigers get first win of year, Patriots push win streak to 37 games

The Fayette County Tigers had seen plenty of games slip away from them late this season. Tonight, they added two touchdowns in the fourth quarter to secure their first victory of the season. Fayette County beat McIntosh 35-7 and the players gave their head coach, Mike Davis, a Gatorade bath to celebrate his first win at the school.

Landmark Christian School pulled out every trick in the book in their game with Eagle’s Landing Christian Academy, including kicking (and recovering) two onside kicks in the first half, but it wasn’t enough and the War Eagles lost to the Chargers 35-14.

It was a short week of practice for Sandy Creek. They survived a region battle with Eastside and took the field at home for homecoming against Locust Grove six days later.

They certainly didn’t look tired. Rather, they appeared motivated to get a comfortable enough lead and enjoy the festivities.

Whitewater wins defensive battle, 14-7

After beating rival Starr's Mill last week, the Wildcats were riding a four game winning streak. A win against Upson Lee would put the Wildcats in the driver's seat in the sub-region. In typical Whitewater fashion it was a tightly competitive game that went down to the wire.
