Hort takes 35th at national championship
McIntosh’s Brad Hort placed 35th in the Foot Locker Cross Country Championships National Finals in San Diego, Calif. on Saturday. He finished with a time of 16:09. The top finisher was Ed Cheserek of Newark, NJ. He finished with a time of 14:59.

The 34th annual South Region Foot Locker Cross Country Championship race took place last Saturday in Charlotte, N.C. Over 2,000 cross country runners competed from the South Region totaling 14 states this year that had entered.

Starr’s Mill Class of 2015
On Saturday, Nov. 3, many high school cross-country reams participated in their region meets. One of these meets was the region 4-AAAAA championship, hosted by Starr’s Mill at Heritage Christian Church. Eleven teams were at the meet including local teams such as McIntosh, Whitewater, and Starr’s Mill. This was the most important race of the year so far because only the top four male and female teams advanced to the state meet.

Starr’s Mill Class of 2015
The annual Sandy Creek Fall Classic cross-country meet was held on Saturday, September 29, at Sandy Creek and several local teams including Sandy Creek, Fayette County, Landmark, Whitewater and Starr’s Mill participated in the meet.
