The East Coweta Indians have made the state playoffs every year for the last six seasons. The last time their season ended without a trip to the state playoffs was in 2005 when they went 13-12.

Starr’s Mill High School Dugout Club will host its second annual Youth Baseball Camp during the week of spring break. The camp will take place at the Panthers baseball field and Medici Baseball Complex April 2-5, 2012 (Spring Break week). Players in Grades 1-8 are encouraged to attend. The camp will be held from 9 a.m.-noon and will be run by Coach Brent Moseley, his coaching staff and SMHS players. In addition to four days of age-specific skills training, the $75 registration fee also includes lunch on Thursday, a t-shirt, and free admission to the Varsity game on Wednesday, April 4.
Peachtree City’s Home Plate 12U team coached by Matt Frady and Chad Bailey headed down to Panama City, Fla. last week to clinch the title of tournament champions.
The Peachtree City Little League 10/11 All Star Team recently won the District 4 Championship in Brooks. The team was 4-0 in the tournament and will next play in the Little League State Tournament in Warner Robins.
